My tenth car was probably the best car I would own for a long time, a 1998 Toyota Celica, I bought this brand new in 1998 for $38,990, it was a manual, this was my first and only new car, I loved this car, it was simply fantastic to drive, you could argue for a sports type car the 4 cylinder engine was a little underdone but the trans was great and it drove so smoothly. It was state of the art for its time, everything was electric, it had a built in cd player which was pretty rare in that period. I traded one of the work cars in at this stage, the VR Commodore had done something like 500,000km it was trashed and pretty much worthless, it was still on a loan so it had a huge minus equity, trading it for a new car helped to hide a porition of the minus equity.
Sadly this car like other things in my life became a repo when I lost the business and went back to being broke.
